SEATTLE (January 31, 2022) – Sabey Data Centers, a premier national data center services provider, today announced a 70-megawatt (MW) expansion of its data center campus in Quincy, Washington. A commitment from a major service provider anchors the project, with additional hyperscale and enterprise data center inventory also included. Construction is underway and the initial phase of the expansion is expected to be ready for commissioning in the second half of 2022.
The project introduces Sabey’s next generation design that increases the ratio of data center to core space, supports high-density deployments, and incorporates sustainable construction including a reduced reliance on carbon-intensive concrete.
“In Quincy and in our data center facilities across the country, Sabey continues to offer a unique combination of renewable energy, industry-leading power efficiency, and customer-focused operations. Our new design innovations continue the company’s history of leadership in responsible, sustainable, energy-efficient design, construction, and operations,” said John Sasser, CTO of Sabey Data Centers.
“We’re appreciative of the trust that technology leaders continue to place in Sabey Data Centers as they scale their IT infrastructure and cloud requirements to support their expansion, and for the work of our internal teams that make that growth possible.”
