The State of Oregon offers several attractive tax incentives for our data center customers. 

Property Tax Exemption​

  • Located in an Enterprise Zone, making a property tax exemption available to Sabey tenants. ​
  • A qualified investment by a tenant in tangible personal property (like servers) and tenant leasehold improvements can receive a 100% exemption for up to fiveyears. ​
  • The current base property tax in Umatilla County is $14.25 per $1,000 of assessed value. A five-year exemption represents considerable savings. ​

Sales Tax​

  • There is no sales tax in the state of Oregon. ​

Income Tax​

  • Oregon offers a 10-year income tax holiday (above-the-line, not a tax credit) to any size business/project that meets the criteria. ​
