Robert Rockwood
As President of Sabey Data Centers, Rob brings deep knowledge of the eastern region market and experience in solution based data center leasing. Prior to joining Sabey, Rob served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of CoreSite, joining shortly after its founding in 2001 by Carlyle Group’s US Realty Division; other positions held by Rob at CoreSite were Chief Operating Officer and Chief Investment Officer. Throughout, he was involved in every aspect of data center portfolio development and management. Rob began his career as a management associate with Columbia Energy Group upon his graduation from the Kennedy School and went on to become General Manager of Columbia Energy Group’s fiber optic start-up.

In addition to his Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Harvard, Rob holds a Master’s degree in Construction Management from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Rob served in the U.S. Army as a combat engineer officer and an Army Ranger.

John Ford
Vice President & General Manager, Intergate.Seattle
John Ford is an information and telecommunications professional with 25 years of industry intelligence gained through extensive experience in executive management, technical sales, marketing and data center design for enterprise customers and data carriers.

Appointed as Vice-President of Sabey Data Centers in 2010, John is responsible for developing and managing leasing and marketing programs to address business needs for a wide variety of verticals including large enterprise clients, government agencies, telecommunication carriers, financial, healthcare and media companies. He also manages technical aspects of site acquisition and works closely with the Critical Environment Management Team to keep Sabey Data Center designs current and responsive to its clients. He joined Sabey in 2004 as a consultant and was brought into the company as the Director of Technology Real Estate in 2005.

Prior to joining Sabey Data Centers, John served as Director of Network Facilities for Terabeam Corporation, a rapidly growing free-space optics company; prior to that he was National Program Manager at Verizon with responsibility for all communication infrastructure programs for the Boeing Company. Previously, he was Regional Manager for Kent Datacomm, a fast growing public company selling computer networking equipment.

John is an active member of the Uptime Network Institute, AFCOM Western Washington chapter and 7×24 Exchange.

Aaron Loh
Leasing Manager
Aaron is responsible for Sales and Leasing across Sabey’s national data center portfolio. He has spent time working out of Sabey’s headquarters in Seattle, WA as well as Ashburn, VA focused on leasing, marketing and customer management for a wide range of verticals including Financial Services, Healthcare, Government, Telecommunications and Enterprise clients. He has a deep understanding of the national data center market as well as Sabey’s full line of services. Aaron graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Finance.

Tim Mirick
Sr. Vice President Leasing & Marketing
Tim Mirick is responsible for new client development for Sabey Data Centers as well as support for MultiScale Health Networks, the newly formed joint venture between CODONiS (a Sabey Company) and Providence Health and Services. Tim brings nearly twenty years of broad technology experience to Sabey Data Centers having held executive positions at American Express, and RealNetworks. He has built, lead and been part of multiple high performing sales organizations specializing in driving adoption of nascent services and products including IaaS, SaaS and PaaS offerings for enterprises, developers and consumers.

Tim is a Seattle native, youth league coach and technology enthusiast who likes to spend fall afternoons at Husky Stadium. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington.

Dan Meltzer
Vice President Sales & Leasing – New York
Dan Meltzer has primary responsibility for sales and leasing at our Intergate.Manhattan data center located at 375 Pearl Street in New York City. In addition, he leverages the entire Sabey Data Center portfolio to meet his customers’ requirements beyond the New York market.

Dan brings over thirty years of professional sales experience as well as key relationships in the telecommunications and data center industries having worked at MCI Telecommunications, PSINet, GlassHouse Technologies and, most recently, Optimum Lightpath. He is focused on several verticals for Sabey Data Centers including financial services, health care, new media, telecommunications and retail/wholesale colocation and hosting providers.

Dan lives in New York City and graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Science degree.

John Sasser
Sr. Vice President Data Center Operations
John Sasser brings fifteen years of management experience to the operations of Sabey Data Centers’ portfolio of campuses. In addition to all day-to-day operations, start-ups and transitions, he is responsible for developing the conceptual bases of design and operations for all Sabey data centers, managing data center client relationships, overseeing construction projects, and planning for electrical utility capacity.

John and his team have routinely received recognition for continuous uptime from the Uptime Institute. Prior to joining Sabey, he worked for Capital One and for Walt Disney Company and spent seven years with the Navy Civil Engineer Corps. John is also President and founding member of the Western Washington State Chapter of AFCOM, a leading international data center operations industry group.

Stuart Hanson
Vice President Sales & Leasing
Stuart Hanson has over twenty years of experience in the provision of nearly every type of data center and related telecom service including managed services, colocation, IP, CDN, bandwidth optimization, network design and deployment, hosting and storage. Prior to joining Sabey Data Centers, Stuart held senior positions with Global Center, Exodus, Qwest Communications, Abovenet and Internap as he developed a specialization in meeting large enterprise requirements. His success is due to a customer-centric focus and ability to manage complex business requirements. These skills have resulted in significant transactions with enterprises such as eBay, HP, Cisco, Google, and Yahoo.

A San Francisco native, Stuart can be found in his spare time on the tennis courts with his nationally ranked Berkeley Tennis Club team, watching his son’s sports career blossom and cheering on his teams at UC Berkeley – Go Bears!

Cameron Richardson
Director of Leasing
Cameron joins Sabey Data Centers as Director of Leasing bringing his customer relationship, sales team management and technical knowledge of data center operations to the Intergate.Ashburn data center campus. With nearly 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and data center industry, Cameron has deep roots in the Northern Virginia market place.  His career began with great success at UUNet on the high speed sales team, becoming team lead.  After successful stints with national and regional telecommunications providers, such as SpaceNet, Cavalier Telephone and Cogent; Cameron was recruited into the data center specific arena and helped launch QTS’ Richmond data center (a 1.3 million square-foot facility).  Prior to joining Sabey, Cameron was Director of Sales for CoreSite in the Eastern Region, with a focus on their Reston data center campus.
